The answer depends on how strong you like your coffee! The more coffee you use, the stronger the final taste. A good rule of thumb? Use 8 tablespoons for a 10-12 cup pot.

The short answer... NO. Coffee is porous and therefore will pick up the smells of your fridge. Opening the fridge frequently will also cause the coffee to draw moisture which will then cause it to lose flavor. If you need to store your coffee, put it in the freezer in an airtight container, but only for a short period of time.

There are two types of coffee beans: arabica and robusta. Robusta coffees have more caffeine between the two varieties. We only roast arabica coffees which can range from 80-200mg (avg. 110mg) per cup. Coffee experiences a decrease in caffeine as the roast increases, therefore 1 espresso shot has less caffeine than an 8oz. cup of coffee. This is due to a loss of caffeine in the roasting process.

Somewhere between 30-100mg, with the average being 75mg per shot.

Our flavorings are oil based, therefore they do not add additional calories to a cup of coffee. In general, one cup of coffee has 5 calories.
